It had stickers one each side and the only way I could ever solve it was to take the stickers out and just stick them in the right place. I was never able to "legitemately" solve the cube. The formulae are kinda hard to remember. You get used to the previous stuff rather easily. But I never bothered mugging up those formulas coz one mistake there and you have to start all over again!
